CENSUS 2020 YOUTH TRAINING WORKSHOP

MERIDIAN CITY HALL AUDITORIUM

The youth and young adults of Meridian/Lauderdale County play a key role in helping the city complete Census 2020. Partnering with the Census Bureau provides a unique learning opportunity for teens to learn about the importance of the census and how they can help family members and neighbors as they participate in one of our country’s most important civic engagements. The City of Meridian will host a Census 2020 Youth Training Session on Wednesday, March 18th, from 6-7:30 pm at City Hall in collaboration with Meridian Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This invitation is for youth and young adults (ages 14-25). Participants will receive community service credit for their attendance. We invite schools, churches, fraternities, sororities, and other civic organizations to attend and volunteer to support our young citizens.
